group-thinking)<\/p>\n<p>All the white I know<br \/>\nis the hoary-old ditty<br \/>\nA whiter shade of pale<br \/>\na little-known collective noun<br \/>\na whiteness of swans<br \/>\n(and the Beatles\u2019 White Album)<\/p>\n<p>I ask the question<br \/>\nfrom a non-racial rearing<br \/>\nenfolded by humanists<br \/>\npolitical educators teachers<br \/>\ncivic-minded campaigners<br \/>\n(African) Marxists and Socialists<br \/>\nfeminists and womynists too<\/p>\n<p>(with Achebe and Ngugi<br \/>\nand Neruda and Brecht<br \/>\nthey made their mark though<br \/>\nnot with corporal punishment)<\/p>\n<p>One can ask the question<br \/>\nwith all the progressive battles<br \/>\n(no normal sport in an abnormal)<br \/>\nwhere has all the non-racialism gone<br \/>\nwas it just a passing charade<\/p>\n<p>One can ask the question<br \/>\nwhat seeds do we plant<br \/>\nas June Orsmond is doing<br \/>\n(the power of one person)<br \/>\nin Lavender Hill and elsewhere<br \/>\nin
